Charges Dropped In NH Hit And Run Involving Mom Pushing Stroller

NEW IPSWICH, NH (CBS) - Prosecutors have dropped hit and run charges that a New Ipswich teenager was facing.

Last month, officers arrested 19-year-old Kaitlyn Blacker, accusing her of hitting a young mother with her car and then taking off.

The victim, Crystal Hazelton was pushing her daughter in a stroller at the time.

She suffered serious injuries. The little girl escaped unharmed.

Blacker's lawyer says prosecutors dropped the charges because there was not enough evidence to convict her.
