OXFORD, England – With the help of three all-star New Englanders, Team USA was the undefeated champion Sunday at the 2012 Summer Games Quidditch Expo, hosted Sunday in Oxford, England.

Boston University alum Kedzie Teller, Emerson College alum Allison Gillette, and Zach D’Amico of Belmont, Mass. led the American team to victory over the national squads from Canada, Australia, France, and the United Kingdom.

As a result of their first place finish, Team USA was selected to play a demonstration game against Team UK as a part of the official Oxford Olympic torch ceremony as the Olympic flame passed through the city on Monday.
