NH State Representative's Daughter Dies In Apparent Drowning
WINDHAM, N.H. (CBS) - The 3-year-old daughter of a New Hampshire state representative died Monday, a day after she was pulled unconscious from a swimming pool at their home.
Ella Ockerman was the daughter of Republican state Rep. Richard Ockerman.
Windham police told WBZ-TV the drowning appears to be accidental, but they are waiting for the medical examiner's report.
House Speaker William O'Brien released this statement:
"The House of Representatives will keep Rick and his family in our thoughts and prayers at this heartbreaking time for them. As a parent and a grandparent, I can only imagine the pain for them and how much they need our support right now."
