Likely Sand Shark Spotted Off NH Beach
RYE, N.H. (CBS) - A shark sighting at a New Hampshire beach prompted a swimming ban on Monday.
A swimmer spotted the shark off Wallis Sands Beach around 1:45 p.m.
Officials said that based on the description, they believe it's probably a sand shark.
The beach was left open, but swimmers weren't allowed in the water.
