Gresh is back from vacation, but with Zo still out 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Bruins play-by-play announcer Dave Goucher joined Gresh in studio.
The guys started things off discussing news that came down late on Friday that Ray Allen had reportedly decided to sign with the Miami Heat for less money. People are attacking the veteran and calling him a bad guy for leaving to go to Miami for less money. Do the guys agree?
“This has turning into a situation where he’s become a bad guy overnight. It’s not a business decision anymore, it has now become an indictment on the man and who he is. That is what has really caught me off guard,” Gresh said.
Goucher wasn’t surprised that Allen left and said he would have been more surprised if he had stayed in town. Goucher doesn’t think that there was much for Allen to think about when making his choice.
