It’s shaping up to be a gorgeous week!
There will only be a bump or two along the way. A Canadian high will suppress a stalled front to our south near the Central Plains to the latitude of the Mason-Dixon Line to the Delmarva Peninsula.
Get ready for some serious sunshine! If you’re running low on the sunscreen, make sure to stock up.
Today will be mostly sunny with a seabreeze kicking in this afternoon. High temps will be in the lower to middle 80′s with temperatures closer to 80 near the coast.
Tuesday will be much of the same while we will be watching the potential for spot convection near western New England. Our viewing area will be in the clear though. Highs will be in the middle 80′s once again with cooler highs along the coast near 80.
We will do it all over again on Wednesday. The only exception is that there will be a slim chance of a spot storm far north and west of Boston. That being said, the best chance, which is still a small percentage, will be across northern and western New England. Highs will be in the lower 80′s inland and in the 75-80 range closer to the coast.
Thursday and Friday will be beautiful as well with high temperatures back into the middle 80′s and cooler at the coast. The only minor discrepancy would be in the temperature department where Friday may be a degree or two closer to 90. We will be watching an inverted trough which may increase clouds and even produce a shower or two for southeastern Massachusetts on Friday.
This weekend is a tough call at the moment.
We need to watch the stalled front as it begins to rebound. I think that there will be a chance of a shower/storm on Saturday with a better chance of rain on Sunday. I tend to side with the EURO model this far out in the forecast with its current accuracy rate. The EURO shows a chance of showers Saturday due to the front pushing northward as a warm front. Then, the front stalls out for a chance of rain Sunday.
It’s looking like a great week to be outdoors, enjoy some beach time, and get out on the boat. Here’s your beach and boating forecast.
We hope that you have a great day!
