Seven baby flamingos recently hatched at the Stone Zoo.
STONEHAM (CBS) – There’s something new at the Stone Zoo.
Seven Caribbean flamingo chicks just hatched and a few more are expected to hatch this summer.
There are now nearly 50 of the birds at the zoo, ranging in age from a few days old to at least 43 years.
This time of year is one of the best times to see these brightly colored birds, however they adapt to climate changes quite well despite their tropical descent and can be seen on exhibit almost all year round.
