3 Rhode Island Children Indirectly Struck By Lightning

GLOCESTER, R.I. (CBS) - Three children were taken to the hospital after they were indirectly struck by lightning in Glocester, Rhode Island on Sunday.

Police said the kids, ages 5, 13 and 14, were playing in a yard around 4 p.m. when they were indirectly hit by lightning.

The children suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence as a precaution.
