HYDE PARK (CBS) – A 22-year-old mother was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Hyde Park early Saturday morning.
Tinesha Julien was walking with her boyfriend across the street near River and Rosa Streets at around 4:45 a.m. when she was hit.
Witnesses told police a four-door black Jeep Liberty hit Julien and did not stop.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Kim Tunnicliffe reports.
Julien was taken to Boston Medical Center, where she later died.
She leaves behind a 2-year-old son.
“My grandson… will never see his mother again. Only way he’s gonna see his mother again is if they bring him to the funeral. That’s the only way,” said Kevin McGee, the grandfather of Julien’s son.
Police are looking for the driver of that black Jeep Liberty.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
