BOSTON (CBS) – The 2012 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular just got a little louder.
The Dropkick Murphys will now join the Boston Pops and Jennifer Hudson performing on the Esplanade on the Fourth of July.
The Dropkick Murphys are hometown favorites with their Red Sox anthem “Tessie” and their hit song “Shipping Up To Boston.”
Michael Chiklis will be the host of the national broadcast.
