On Friday June 15th 2012, President Barack Obama delivered a speech in the Rose Garden that sounded like music to the ears of as many as 800,000 young immigrants who have lived in the United States with fear of deportation. With this Deferred Action, these so-called “DREAMers” will be able to apply for renewable two-year work permits that will allow them to live in the country legally, but will not provide them a path to citizenship. On this edition of “Centro”, WBZ’s Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with attorney Eneida Roman-Olivieri from Roman Law Offices in Boston.
