GRAFTON, NH (CBS) – Wildlife crews in New Hampshire are hoping to trap a bear that attacked a Grafton woman at her home.
A bear trap has been set up outside Tracey Colburn’s home. Colburn says she was attacked as she let her dog out of the house Saturday night.
The bear clawed her arms before it finally left. If the bear is caught, New Hampshire Fish and Game plans to euthanize the bear.
Many bears have been spotted in the area. This particular one was with her two cubs and was most likely looking for food. NH Fish and Game says residents need to be careful and not feed the bears.
