Medway Man Accused Of Assaulting 3 Teens With A 22-Inch Machete

NATICK (CBS) - A 20-year-old from Medway is facing a series of charges after he allegedly threatened a group of teenagers with a 22-inch machete.

Friday night around 10 p.m., the victims told Natick police officers that they had been fishing near West Street.

They heard rustling nearby in the woods followed by the sound of someone smashing out a car window.

They teenagers walked over to see what was going on and say they saw Maximilian Wiggin reaching into a vehicle.

Wiggin allegedly came at them with the machete before taking off.

The teenagers alerted officers, who found Wiggin nearby. They later recovered the knife the victims had described.

Wiggin was charged with three counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (machete), Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle and Malicious Wanton Damage to Property.

He is being held on $500 Bail.
