If you are a fan of Latin music and Latin dance, especially flamenco, we have a treat for you! The Berklee Mediterranean Music Institute and Spain Arts & Culture present “Flamenco Soul Project”, an up-close look at the flamenco and Latin sounds coming from Spain and the Americas! Their 4-city USA Tour offers us a sample of the best flamenco in the world – risqué but at the same time pure, by the hands and soul of a talented, young group of Berklee students, alumni, and flamenco artists. On this edition of “Centro”, WBZ’s Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with the project’s Musical Director Javier Limón, seven-time Latin Grammy award winner and artistic director of the Mediterranean Music Institute of Berklee in Valencia, Spain. Tune in!
