Gas Leak In MIT Lab Forces Building Evacuation
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) - A gas leak forced an evacuation at a lab on the campus of MIT on Thursday.
Hazardous materials crews, along with the local fire department, responded to the scene before noon.
The gas leak was relegated to a lab in the basement of Building 6, which was evacuated.
Crews declared the building safe after 1 p.m. and reopened it for normal use.
No injuries have been reported.
