BOSTON (CBS) – Myra Kraft may be gone, but her spirit is very much alive.
Myra, the late wife of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, was known as a woman who was a giver who was always volunteering for causes dear to her heart.
On Wednesday, 16 people were recognized as exceptional volunteers in their communities, receiving the Myra Kraft Community MVP awards.
Of the 16, one grand prize winner got $25,000 for the non-profit organization where they volunteer.
Five others got $10,000 and the other ten got $2,500.
So, everyone is a winner.
