Members of the Charlestown Militia dressed in their revolutionary war uniforms, firing their muskets, as some 1,500 participants marched down Main Street in Charlestown to mark the battle of Bunkier Hill 237 years ago.

The Battle of Bunker Hill was one of the first major engagements of the Revolutionary War back in 1775.

The parade was led by sailors from the USS Constitution, America's first warship, which was berthed in Boston. The ship will make its annual turnaround on July 4.
