BOSTON (CBS) – This certainly ain’t your typical House of Pizza.

At Stone Hearth Pizza, they’ve reinvented the local pizza joint, making everything from scratch and using organic dough homemade sauce and fresh cheeses to create delicious thin crust Neapolitan style pies baked in a stone hearth oven.

Co-Owners Christopher Robbins and Jonathan Schwarz opened their first Stone Hearth Pizza seven years ago in Belmont and have since added locations in Cambridge, Needham, and their newest spot in Allston.

Favorites range from traditional options like classic margherita or nitrate-free pepperoni to wilder pies including buffalo chicken with cherry tomatoes and buttermilk blue cheese dressing or the Divine Goddess, loaded with garlic oil, spinach, broccoli, and ricotta.

Stone Hearth also serves baked pastas, hearty stuffed stromboli and panini on fresh baked bread.

You can get it to go or dine in their comfortable dining room.
