CAMPTON, N.H. (AP) — Day use fees will be waived across New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest for National Get Outdoors Day.
Forest officials say fees will remain in effect Saturday for overnight camping, permits and other activities, but no day use fees are being charged.
One of the forest’s newest features is the Weeks Act Legacy Trail, a driving door that includes 40 sites along a 100-mile loop. Visitors to the legacy trail’s website can download maps and audio guides to the trail.
