Group Leaving Funeral Robbed At Gunpoint In Natick Cemetery

NATICK (CBS) - Natick Police were investigating an armed robbery inside a cemetery Saturday afternoon.

Police say a group of three or four cars surrounded a car with five people in the car at Dell Park Cemetery.

Those five victims were leaving a burial service.

The victims told police that two people pulled out guns and ordered them to hand over cash, cell phones and identification.

Police say this was not a random act. They believe that the robbery was an attempt to recover information associated with a murder that occurred in New York City in the recent past.

There were no shots fired and nobody was injured during the course of the Robbery.
