Melrose Students Visit DC War Memorials With World War II Veterans

MELROSE (CBS) - Last month, some students from the Melrose Middle School helped raise $7,000 to take a trip to our nation's capitol and tour the war memorials there.

But they also paid for some World War II veterans to join them.

So, the kids not only learned from spending time at the memorials, but learned from some veterans themselves.

There's no better history lesson than one coming from those who served.
