Conor Glassey of Baseball America joined Tony Massarotti on the Baseball Reporters to talk about the 2012 MLB Draft and the Boston Red Sox selections.
The Red Sox had two picks in the first round and one pick in the supplemental first round. With the 24th pick, the Red Sox selected Deven Marrero, a shortstop from Arizona State University. The Sox also had the final pick of the first round, and at number 31 the Sox took left-handed pitcher Brian Johnson from the University of Florida. In the supplemental round, he Sox drafted right-handed pitcher Pat Light from Monmouth University with the 37th selection.
How would Glassey asses the Red Sox draft so far? What teams have had an exceptional draft?
