One Person Killed In Spencer Fire

SPENCER (CBS) – One person was killed in a fire in Spencer early Saturday morning.

Fire Marshal Stephen Coan said the fire broke out in a six-family building on Cherry Street sometime around 3 a.m.

The victim was identified by the District Attorney’s office as 57-year-old Zbigniew Waisk. He lived in the apartment where investigators believe the fire started.

Everyone else made it out safely.

The fire was under investigation, but officials say there were no indications of any foul play.
