Toucher & Rich: Fred Hates Fenway Park
Fred's parents were in town for the holiday weekend and he decided to take them to a Red Sox game, since his mother had never been to Fenway Park.
Fred has never been a big fan of Boston's ballpark and feels he has the right to complain since he pays for everything when he goes to a Sox game.
Fred made a point to note that he's not usually one to complain about how much things cost, but can't believe that a beer at Fenway costs $8.50. On top of that, they expect you to tip?
Fred also brought up the problem of the seats at the ballpark. How can people like the park when normal sized people have trouble sitting comfortably in the seats? It doesn't help any when there's a fat guy next to you who takes some of your space by refusing to close his legs.
Lastly, Fred took issue with The Wave that Boston fans got going when the Sox were down 7-1. Luckily, he wasn't around for the 'Sweet Caroline' sing-along when they were still losing.
