BOSTON (AP) — Boston Harbor Cruises is announcing a partnership with the Wounded Warriors project in which the cruise company will donate money for one week this summer to the organization known for helping injured soldiers.
Boston Harbor Cruises made the announcement Friday, in anticipation of Memorial Day weekend, saying it will donate $1 from each ticket sold between June 30 and July 6. The company expects about 50,000 tickets to be sold during the holiday week.
During this time more than 100 wounded service members are expected to take part in a complimentary narrated harbor cruise.
