Van Carrying Special Needs Students Involved In Chelmsford Crash

CHELMSFORD (CBS) - Police were on the scene of a crash involving a school bus van transporting special needs students in Chelmsford Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened at the Drum Hill Square intersection just after 3 p.m.

The van, which was carrying two special needs students collided with a car.

The driver, the two students, and two people in the other car were all taken to area hospitals.

The injuries were all believed to be minor.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known, but police believe one of the vehicles may have run a red light.

Police said they believe the students belong to the Lighthouse School in Chelmsford.
