DRACUT (CBS) – Three workers were taken to the hospital on Tuesday after possibly being exposed to a hazardous chemical.
The workers at Conway Freight found the chemicals in a box in a truck parked outside in the shipping and receiving area.
Police say the three workers all reported an odor emitting from a liquid-based flammable material.
The workers, who showed no signs of illness, were decontaminated at the hospital.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Bernice Corpuz reports
Commercial Drive was shut down for a few hours while Hazmat crews responded.
Crews had contained the chemical.
The chemical had not yet been identified, but police believe it may be some kind of household cleaner.
