Explosion Rocks House In New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD (CBS) – An explosion rocked a house in New Bedford on Tuesday.

The house on Babbit Street blew up around 11 a.m.

The force of the explosion blew out several windows in the house.

No one was hurt.

The gas company was on scene. Authorities were investigating what caused the explosion.

Neighbors say the previous homeowner had passed away and his family was in the process of renovating the home so a relative could move in.
