Police No Longer Actively Searching For Webster Family

BOSTON (CBS) - Police said Tuesday they have made contact with a Webster family originally missing since Saturday and they are no longer searching for them.

Officers were looking for 35-year-old Jeffrey Doughty, his wife, 37-year-old Luldelin Cruz-Doughty, and her daughter, 18-year-old Ariana Difederico.

The three had not been seen since Friday, when they visited police departments in Webster and Auburn complaining that someone was following them.

The last signal from their cell phone was traced to Maine on Saturday, before police were able to get in touch with them on Tuesday.

Cruz-Doughty dropped off her two youngest children with their father in Webster on Friday before she originally went missing.

Difederico, meanwhile, is a senior at Bartlett High School.
