MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) – A standoff in Manchester, New Hampshire ended peacefully Monday night after a man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend surrendered.

Police got a call from a woman who said she had been kidnapped from her New Boston home by 29-year-old Christopher Long.

The victim says Long threatened her with a weapon, tied her up and took her to Manchester where she was held captive for several hours.

Somehow she managed to escape.

Police tracked the man to a home in Manchester and the SWAT team surrounded it. A negotiator convinced him to come out

Long will be in court on Tuesday.
