WELLESLEY (CBS) – A 25-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Wellesley Friday night.

Wellesley police believe the motorcycle struck a concrete barrier on the side of Route 9.

A police officer responding to the crash found the victim unconscious and unresponsive in the road.

The victim was rushed to the Newton Wellesley Hospital where he passed away.

The victim’s name is not being released until the notification of family members is complete.

The crash is under investigation.
