Gresh & Zo: Josh Beckett's Golf Outing
It's May 10th and the Boston Red Sox are at the bottom of the AL East division. They've just lost seven of their last eight and now Josh Beckett is missing starts and going golfing.
The Sports Hub's Hardy broke the news Wednesday that Beckett, after being scratched from a start, was seen hitting the links for 18 holes with Clay Buchholz. The story has taken off and there has been a mixed reaction among Red Sox fans.
Gresh and Zo take a listen to Bobby Valentine's comments on the situation, and the Sox manager seems to have conflicting feelings on it. First he said pitching and golfing go hand in hand, but ended by saying it probably wasn't the smartest idea.
