Governor Patrick's Daughter In The Hospital

BOSTON (CBS) - Governor Patrick's oldest daughter Sarah is in the hospital.

According to the governor's communications director Brendan Ryan, Sarah Patrick was eating dinner in the Berkshires Monday evening when she became ill and temporarily disoriented.

She was taken to a nearby hospital where she spent the night.

"She is in stable condition and will remain in the hospital for observation and further tests," Ryan said in a statement.

Governor Patrick and his wife Diane have both canceled all of the events on their schedules so they can be with Sarah in the hospital.

Sarah is 26 years old.
