Plane Makes Emergency Landing At Logan Due To Hydraulic Issue

BOSTON (CBS) - A JetBlue flight from Charlotte to Boston made an emergency landing at Logan Airport Saturday afternoon.

Flight 1242 took off just after 11 a.m. with 89 passengers on board and landed safely without incident just after 1 p.m.

During the flight, pilots reported a mechanical issue and the captain declared an emergency landing as a precaution.

Officials reported the plane had a failure of the No. 2 hydraulic system.

The plan will be taken out of service for inspection.
