Wave After Wave

It's one wave after another as a front is stalled near the area in association with a nearly zonal jetstream flow.   Here is the depiction of the 250mb upper air flow...

Today, clouds will rule as onshore winds continue to prevail. There is a slim chance of a peak of sunshine or two inland during the afternoon.  Highs temps are running on the cool side once again in the lower to middle 50s.

Friday will be a wet end to the week with scattered rain. Rainfall amounts will be near .25-.75" by Friday evening.  Highs will remain cool in the lower 50s to middle 50s while some inland areas could come closer to 60F.

Saturday will be controlled by onshore winds from the east-northeast for the last of this long, cloudy, dreary stretch.  There will be a chance of a spot shower throughout the middle part of the afternoon.  That being said, I expect more sunny breaks as the day progresses into the evening. Highs will be in the middle 50s to near 60F where there is a peak of sunshine or two.

SUNSHINE makes a comeback on Sunday!  We will all be soaking in the sunshine!  Highs will be returning to the normal range in the lower to middle 60s.

Early next week starts off with sunshine along with temps in the 60s.   Rain will return to the forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Night sky observers...*Full 'Flower' Moon this Saturday, May 5 @ ~11:35pm.*
