Happy FRRRiday! The sun will be emerging as the clouds and the showers will be departing. Winds will become feisty due to strong cold air advection. Skies will become mostly sunny to partly cloudy this afternoon with high temperaures in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Freeze Warnings have been issued for the majority of our viewing area tonight as lows are projected to drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s.
This weekend will be beautiful overall, but it’s going to be on the cool side for late April. Saturday will be sunny north of the Pike, while there will be more clouds fro southeastern Massachusetts due to a low pressure system passing near the Delmarva Peninsula and off to the east. Sunday will be partly cloudy with afternoon clouds due to a longwave trough digging into the area. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 50s while Sunday will be closer to the middle 50s.
The last day of April looks seasonable with highs in the lower 60s accompanied by sunshine.
How will you spend your last weekend of April ’12?
Have a wonderful weekend…
