Concord Rejects Cat Crackdown
CONCORD (CBS) – Voters in Concord have rejected a proposal that would have required cats to be licensed and vaccinated.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Carl Stevens reports
It was brought to a town meeting by a resident who said she was fed up with neighborhood cats attacking the birds in her backyard.
An offending cat would have been confined to its own home or impounded.
The vote failed Thursday night by a show of hands.
