BOSTON (CBS) – Students at Woonsocket’s Mount Saint Charles Academy have a lot to be thankful for.
They raised $14,000 to give to their sister school in Zambia.
The Shitima School in Zambia is in an area of town so poor, that most only get one meal a day if they’re lucky.
Orphans live on the street and eat out of trash cans.
The money the Rhode Island kids raised will provide food, clothes and education.
