ROCKPORT (CBS) – The search for a missing 2-year-old girl off Rockport will resume Wednesday.
Caleigh Anne Harrison vanished while playing with her mother and sister near Long Beach last Thursday afternoon.
On Wednesday, State police will utilize side-scan sonar imaging from their boats off the coast of Rockport. Also, around 20 State police divers will hold a training exercise off the shoreline.
The search was originally planned to resume on Tuesday, but a forecast for high winds off Rockport will delay police efforts.
Bad weather forced authorities to suspend the search for the toddler for Sunday and Monday, as well.
The rain hasn’t stopped several nearby residents from looking for Caleigh, though. Many of them spent Sunday walking the beach, hoping to find any trace.
