BOSTON (CBS) – The Red Sox-Yankees game scheduled for Sunday night at 8 p.m. has been postponed due to rain.
The game will be rescheduled for a new date as soon as possible, the team said. Tickets for Sunday’s game can be used for the rescheduled game.
The Red Sox could use a break, though. At 4-10, they are in last place in the AL East.
What’s worse is the team’s pitching, which is last in all of baseball with a 6.68 ERA, more than a full run higher than the second-worst team (Twins, 5.23 ERA).
The Red Sox are next scheduled to play in Minnesota on Monday night at 8:10 p.m.
