NORTHBRIDGE (CBS) – A missing man from Whitinsville was found in Connecticut Friday afternoon.
Thirty-one-year-old Michael Heydary failed to return home from his daily walk around the Carpenter Road Reservoir Tuesday night.
His family reported him missing and a search began.
Northbridge police say they received a tip from a person in Woodstock, Connecticut who claimed he saw a man fitting Heydary’s description in the Oxford-Dudley area Thursday and again on Friday, walking in Putnam, Connecticut.
Northbridge officers contacted Connecticut State Police who found Heydary walking on Route 44 in Putnam at 1:30 p.m.
Heydary was taken to a hospital for evaulation.
There’s no word yet on his condition or what led to his disappearance.
