Shooting Victim Enters Dorchester Target Store Seeking Help

BOSTON (CBS) - Police say the victim of a shooting drove himself to a Target store in Dorchester Wednesday night.

Police received the call at 6:18pm Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old victim is believed to have been shot in his car somewhere on Southampton Street and then entered the store at the South Bay shopping center. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

State Police shut down the entrances and exits to the mall while they investigated. The State Police air-wing was assisting in the search.
