BOSTON (CBS) – The drama around the Bruins-Capitals playoff series just gets more interesting by the game.

Monday night, the B’s toughed-out a 4-3 win in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead. This did not come without a few punches and crosschecks though, including one from Nicklas Backstrom on Rich Peverley after the final horn sounded. Backstrom received a match penalty, and is likely looking at a game suspension.

Then on Tuesday, Washington coach Dale Hunter accused the Bruins of going for Backstrom’s head.
