Live from Cask n’ Flagon, Gresh and Zo address Bobby Valentine’s controversial comments about Kevin Youkilis, which questioned the third baseman’s dedication this season.

“I don’t think he’s as physically or emotionally into the game as he has been in the past for some reason,” said Valentine.

Given the Red Sox’ season is merely nine games old, is Valentine out of line with his comments? Does Youkilis really deserve to be called out?

“What ticks me off is that he said that this was taken out of context, or that he was misinterpreted,” Scott Zolak said. “He’s an idiot. You don’t go after Kevin Youkilis. You can say that there’s problems with the at-bats, yeah. No doubt about it … but to ever question Kevin Youkilis’ approach and commitment to the game … you got issues, dude.”
