DA: Millville Student Threatened To Blow Up School

MILLVILLE (CBS) – A 17-year old from Millvile, accused of threatening to blow up his high school, is under arrest.

Damien Grenga is in custody in Crossville, Tennessee, where he was arrested as a fugitive from justice.

The teenager was traveling with his parents when he was taken into custody.

The Worcester County District Attorney says Grenga made verbal threats in recent days indicating he planned to blow up Blackstone-Millville Regional High School.

Parents were notified about the situation through a reverse 911 call.

Police did not find any weapons or explosives in Grenga’s home.

He is expected to face a judge in Uxbridge next week.

No further details were provided.
