DEDHAM (CBS) – Senator Scott Brown and his wife Gail were passengers in a Jeep that was involved in a minor accident Friday night.

Dedham Police say the two-car accident happened at approximately 8:30 on Sprague Street near Azalea Circle.

There were no injuries.

According to a spokesperson for the Senator, “The accident happened as the couple was headed to a Best Buddies charity fundraiser. Neither the Browns nor the driver of the car, Senate aide Chris Burgoyne, were injured.”

Dedham Police are investigating accident but have not filed any charges.
