Felger & Mazz With Bob Beers: Bruins Ready for Series to Begin

Felger and Massarotti were joined by Boston Bruins radio analyst Bob Beers to preview Thursday night's start of the Bruins-Capitals first round NHL playoff series. The three cover the many storylines that have presented themselves this week, from the Capitals relying on their third-string Capitals goalie Braden Holtby, to the B's entering the playoffs with few play-makers missing. What are the Bruins chances of advancing?

Felger reflects on the positive position in which the Bruins enter the postseason, asking why any Bruins fan wouldn't feel good about the team heading into the playoffs. Bob Beers agrees with Felger and Mazz that the B's should win the series with Washington, if only based on personnel. He also discusses what he fears about the Capitals: "everybody concentrates on their top end talent... [but] their power play has the capability to be excellent."

Is Johnny Boychuk ready to go? What is the mindset of the Bruins heading into the postseason? Will the Capitals fold if Boston takes an early series lead? Beers discusses all of this with Felger and Mazz, and reveals his prediction for the series outcome at the end of the interview.
