BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Marathon champions inspire a lot of people to do more and think big.
On Wednesday, some of the champs, both past and present took time to meet with more than a hundred Boston public high school track athletes.
Among the marathoners were Desiree Davila, Bill Rodgers and last year’s champs Geoffrey Mutai and Caroline Kilel
They shared running tips and techniques with the student athletes.
The event, Scholars and Stars, was put together by John Hancock at the Reggie Lewis Center.
