Patient Information Goes Flying In Field Near St. Elizabeth's Hospital

BOSTON (CBS)-- Nearly 7,000 patients at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton could be affected by a security breach.

Officials say documents intended for the shredder were somehow removed from the building, and the pers were found blowing around in a nearby field.

The hospital says no personal medical information was compromised, but the papers contained  patients' names, addresses and credit card numbers.

Patients have been notified.
