DEDHAM (CBS) – Dry and breezy weather is causing conditions in the area that are ripe for brush fires.
Saturday afternoon, Dedham firefighters were the latest group to find themselves battling stubborn brush fires.
The fire was burning near the Noble and Greenough School, which raised concerns for a short time.
Dedham’s fire chief says this fire, like many others, appeared to be man-made.
“There are no ignition sources out here,” he explained. You’d have to say probably careless disposal of smoking materials… started this.”
